Job Specification: Data Analyst
Location: Sheffield, (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Function: Strategy, Risk, Data Analytics
Contract working role (inside IR35) / 6 Months contract
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Strategic Data Analyst to support senior leadership with analytical insights across finance, risk, and strategy functions. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality models, dashboards, and decision-making tools that directly inform C-suite strategy and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial and risk models using Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Power Query
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- Strong proficiency in the following tools (candidates must demonstrate real project experience):
- Excel (Advanced) including VBA
- Power BI and Power Query
- SQL
- Python
- SharePoint
