**Data Engineer (Azure) - EU - 6 months- Remote**
For our international client, RED is currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a Business Transformation Solutions (BTS) project.
The consultant is expected to start as soon as possible for an initial 6-month contract with potential extension. The role is fully remote but requires you to be based within the EU.
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT design and development
- Solid experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with ML Ops principles and Azure ML
- Strong communication in English (written and verbal)
- Must be based in the European Union
