RED Global is searching for a PSA Functional Consultant for a long-term project for a consultancy client with an end client in the Oil/Gas industry.

PSA Functional Consultant

Client: Consultancy client (O&G End Client)

Location: Hybrid with 50% Travel (S/SW USA)

Rate: Dependent on Experience

Duration: 12 months

Description: Scope of work covers the upstream finance workstream specifically for Production Sharing Accounting (PSA)

The objectives of the SAP Upstream deployment team are summarized below:

1. Document functional design documents for any customizations/development within PSA modules.
2. Provide expertise on SAP Best Practices within PSA for business processes and end-to-end process design.
3. Build and unit test the solution as part of the larger Record to Report and Polaris solution.
4. Work with related functions such as testing, data, and training/OCM to enable and deliver the solution.
5. Work closely with Internal workstream lead and Polaris Release Management to align on planning of Program Increment Features and User stories.
6. Prepare User Stories, including pre-work, for all in-scope Features included in planned Program Increments (PI).
7. Assist with pro-active risk mitigation of the solutions including identifying co-engineering opportunities, working with SAP product teams, and SAP product support teams.
8. Support SAP and Internal functional teams and/or SAP development teams in timely resolution of issues.
9. Assist with the cutover and deployment of the capabilities in Deployment 2 Release 1, and Deployment 2, Release 2
10. Assist customer in Hypercare
11. Escalate issues as appropriate and necessary.
12. Transfer project knowledge to customer

Travel expectations for 50% onsite alternating weeks with customer. Onsite is 1/2 day Monday (arrive before Noon), Full days Tuesday/Wednesday and 1/2 day Thursday (Leave after lunch).
