SAP Master Data Consultant (MM, PP, QM)

Here at Red on behalf of our global client we are looking for SAP Master Data Consultant (MM, PP, QM) to join a dynamic team for a 6-month contract role based in Cape Town, South Africa. This individual will play a key role in supporting the S/4 Hana Implementation project by ensuring master data integrity, harmonizing data for migration, and providing expertise across the SAP MM, PP, and QM modules. The role involves a hybrid work environment, where you will be onsite 2 days a week and remote 3 days a week, based on the project's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master Data Management
• Maintain and update master data records in SAP systems (MM, PP, QM) according to established workflows and approval processes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all systems in compliance with master data standards.
• Conduct regular audits of master data to identify discrepancies and apply corrective measures, including bulk corrections as required.
• Perform data analysis and cleansing to harmonize the master data for the S/4 Hana migration.
• Data Migration & Harmonization
• Prepare and manage master data work packages for the S/4 Hana migration based on input from stakeholders.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the proper and smooth transfer of data across systems.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to ensure the master data structure aligns with the migration strategy and objectives.

• Collaboration & Support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and Quality) to ensure master data processes align with business needs.
• Provide guidance and support on master data-related issues during the project lifecycle.
• Assist with data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes during the implementation phase.
• Process Improvement & Best Practices
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for master data management, focusing on data consistency and reliability.
• Utilize advanced data management tools (e.g., Winshuttle, Alteryx) to improve data quality and streamline workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of SAP Master Data experience (ideally in MM, PP, and QM modules).
• Proven experience working on global S/4 Hana implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality Management processes within the healthcare industry.
• Expertise in data management tools such as Winshuttle and Alteryx.
• Solid understanding of data migration strategies and techniques within SAP environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large datasets and perform bulk data updates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana implementation in healthcare or related industries.
• Knowledge of advanced data governance practices and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite and remote work responsibilities.
