RED Global is looking for an experienced AS400 Support Engineer to join one of our clients in Germany.

You will manage, optimize, and secure their AS400 systems. You'll handle everything from performance tuning and backups to troubleshooting and user support using tools like IBM Navigator, BRMS, and Performance Navigator.

Requirements:

  • Strong AS400 infrastructure skills
  • Deep knowledge of IBM tools
  • Proactive approach to system health and security
  • Preferred Certifications
    • IBM Certified System Administrator IBM i
    • IBM Certified Associate System Administrator IBM i
    • IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 for i
    • IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert IBM i

Further details:

  • Location: Hamburg - remote
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months + extension
  • Workload: 5 days per week
  • Language: English and Professional German required (C1 or above - Strong B2 could be considered)
